reef-a-palooza [reef-uh-puh-loo-zah] - derived from the combination of the words reef, meaning oriented to or related to the reef, and the word palooza, a fun social event with marine related vendors, manufacturers, hobbyists, guest speakers, and much more! An indoor event held at the Orange County Fair Grounds on October 11th & 12th, 2008.

SCMAS is a marine aquarium club, based in Orange County, California. We're a lively group of both reef and fish-only aquarists. Our monthly raffles are world-renown. We regularly have speakers, organized activities, field-trips, and tank-tours. We are based in Orange County and have members throughout Southern California. We meet the 3rd Friday of every month at 7:00 PM in Santa Ana at the IHOP restaurant at 1001 E. 17th. St., one block east of the 5 Freeway.
