Each booth (5’ x 10’ or larger) will include:
8' high back drape
3' high side drape
20 amp electrical service (vendors will need to provide and extension cord to access)
Complimentary Natural Sea Water (courtesy of Ocean in Motion)
2 - Exhibitor Badges (additional badges available at a cost of $25 each)
1 - 8' Table (15’ x 10’ booths and larger will include 2 tables)
2 - Chairs
(additional tables and chairs will be available at an additional cost)
Exhibitors will be expected to provide their own tank and lighting.

Exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to give away sample products from their booths.

Water Delivery
Ocean in Motion will supply vendors with fresh Natural Sea Water for you displays. Water will be available from:

Friday October 10, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday October 11, 2008 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am

Event hours:

Saturday October 11, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Sunday October 12, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Opportunity Drawing
SCMAS would prefer that item donated for Opportunity Drawing be arranged in advance (by September 26, 2008) to advertise the items on the RAP Opportunity Drawing page, these prises may be displayed at the exhibitor booth or in the Opportunity Drawing area per the preference of the exhibitor (although we would encourage the items to be on display in the Opportunity Drawing area). No other drawings are permitted without the express permission of SCMAS.

Freight
The fairground shipping and receiving hours are Monday thru Friday from the hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. All freight deliveries and pick-ups must be arranged within those hours.

Hotel Accommodations
The Ayres Hotel & Suites in Costa Mesa is the official hotel of Reef-A-Palooza. Reef-A-Palooza guests and exhibitors will receive discounted room rates of $99 for a standard room and $129 for suites. Transportation Information
Travel by Air
Orange County's John Wayne Airport (SNA) is the preferred airport to service the Orange County area. Other options include Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Long Beach Airport, and Ontario international Airport (ONT), however those airport a 20 - 40 mile drive to the Costa Mesa area.

Travel by Vehicle
Costa Mesa has several interstate highways traveling through it. I-405, I-55 and I-73 make it very easy to get to Orange County Fair & Exposition Center by car.

Hobbyist Coral Farmer’s Area - Sponsored by Current USA
$50 per hobbyist per day. (Price includes rental of complete Current USA 12 gallon Aquapod as a display tank. This system includes lighting and filtration. Complimentary Natural Sea Water courtesy of Ocean in Motion)

Hobbyist Coral Farmer's Area Stipulation:

  • Hobbyists may only display coral in the supplied Current USA tank using the provided lighting with the exception of SCMAS coordinator pre-approved lighting. (If the hobbyist prefers to provide alternate lighting it must be approved by SCMAS coordinators.)
    Example of lighting that will be allowed include: PF0 Solaris LED Illumination System, Current- USA 16.5” Sunpod, Coralife Aqualight Advanced Hang-On Tank Mount Fixtures, JBJ K-2 Viper HQI Clamp on Lamp Lighting Fixture, and other like clamp on lighting .
  • Hobbyist may not use any other method of display in the hobbyist area.
Reef-A-Palooza 2008 Reservation Cancellation Policy
The management of Reef-A-Palooza understands that there may be an occasional situation in which a Reef-A-Palooza 2008 reservation must be cancelled. When a Reef-A-Palooza 2008 reservation cancellation is unavoidable, the following policy is in effect for the party that cancels a Reef-A-Palooza 2008 reservation (cancellor).

For reservation cancellations which occur more that 90 days prior to the date of Reef-A-Palooza 2008 is held, a 50% refund of the paid reservation fee is available to the cancellor. However, if the cancellor is able to find a replacement tenant for the reservation that has been cancelled, who has not already been contacted by a Reef-A-Palooza 2008 representative, and who pays for the same reservation as the one cancelled and does not cancel before the date Reef-A-Palooza 2008 is held, a 100% refund of the paid reservation fee will be available to the cancellor. For reservation cancellations which occur more that 45 days and less than 90 days prior to the date Reef-A-Palooza 2008 is held, a 25% refund of paid reservation fee is available to the cancellor. However, if the cancellor is able to find a replacement tenant for the reservation that has been cancelled, who has not already been contacted by a Reef-A-Palooza 2008 representative, and who pays for the same reservation as the one cancelled and does not cancel before the date Reef-A-Palooza 2008 is held, a 75% refund will be available to the cancellor.

For reservation cancellations which occur less than 45 days prior to the date Reef-A-Palooza 2008 is held, no refund will be available. However, if the cancellor is able to find a replacement tenant for the reservation that has been cancelled, who has not already been contacted by a Reef-A-Palooza 2008 representative, and who pays for the same reservation as the one cancelled and does not cancel before the date Reef-A-Palooza 2008 is held, a 50% refund of fees paid by the cancellor will be available to the cancellor.
